Help spread awareness for build reproducibility
Please help us spread the word, asking Incognito crypto wallet to support reproducible builds via their Twitter!
Do your own research!
Try out searching for "lost bitcoins", "stole my money" or "scammers" together with the wallet's name, even if you think the wallet is generally trustworthy. For all the bigger wallets you will find accusations. Make sure you understand why they were made and if you are comfortable with the provider's reaction.
This is the iPhone version of this Android wallet.
Here we read the same claim as for Android:
Don’t leave yourself exposed. Go Incognito. It’s non-custodial, decentralized, and completely open-source.
and get to the same conclusion about the state of their source code: Without build instructions and all the files, this app cannot be reproduced and remains not verifiable.
This app has too few users for now to be reviewed in detail.
This app still needs to be evaluated but before that, gain some users. In the Play Store there is an infinite list of "wallets" and we focus on those that have the biggest impact if things go wrong.
