OK Minerlatest release: 1.2.8 ( 13th October 2021 ) last analysed 16th October 2021 Not a wallet
Do your own research!
Try out searching for "lost bitcoins", "stole my money" or "scammers" together with the wallet's name, even if you think the wallet is generally trustworthy. For all the bigger wallets you will find accusations. Make sure you understand why they were made and if you are comfortable with the provider's reaction.
The Analysis ¶
OKminer is a cloud mining service. From Google Play:
OKminer mining pool is a global digital asset accumulation and allocation platform open to the public.
Here is a negative review regarding this app’s withdrawal limit:
All cloud mining is a scam and this is no different. Once again if it’s too good to be true then it is. Do not deposit any money with this app. They will raise your withdrawal limit if they even let you withdraw at all. You might get lucky. You have a better chance at winning the lottery than getting consistent pay outs from this app. Uninstall it and just buy crypto on Coinbase. ★☆☆☆☆ September 23, 2021
This app is not a wallet, thus we will not review it as such.
This appears to not be a product to receive and send money.
As part of our Methodology, we ask:Is it a wallet? If not, we tag it No Wallet
If it’s called “wallet” but is actually only a portfolio tracker, we don’t look any deeper, assuming it is not meant to control funds. What has no funds, can’t lose your coins. It might still leak your financial history!
If you can buy Bitcoins with this app but only into another wallet, it’s not a wallet itself.
