flitaa: your crypto walletGoogle Play
Our wallet review process
We examine wallets starting at the code level and continue all the way up to the finished app that lives on your device. Provided below is an outline of each of these steps along with security tips for you and general test results.
Application build test result
Flitaa’s description claims that it is an:
all in one platform to store, buy, sell, swap, learn and earn crypto
There is no mention of private keys in the description, with Flitaa saying that wallets are protected with “multiple layers of security”:
Your wallet is protected on multiple layers of security to prevent theft.
There is no mention of private keys anywhere, or any way to backup the cryptocurrency wallets. However, as this tutorial says, it is possible to buy, send, and hold cryptocurrencies with this app.
We tried to sign up through the site, however the registration form only accepted numbers from Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria.
All signs point to this being a custodial app and thus it is not verifiable.

Do your own research
In addition to reading our analysis, it is important to do your own checks. Before transferring any bitcoin to your wallet, look up reviews for the wallet you want to use. They should be easy to find. If they aren't, that itself is a reason to be extra careful.
