Help spread awareness for build reproducibility

Please help us spread the word discussing build reproducibility with Blockchain.mn  via their Twitter!

Do your own research!

Try out searching for "lost bitcoins", "stole my money" or "scammers" together with the wallet's name, even if you think the wallet is generally trustworthy. For all the bigger wallets you will find accusations. Make sure you understand why they were made and if you are comfortable with the provider's reaction.

If you find something we should include, you can create an issue or edit this analysis yourself and create a merge request for your changes.

The Analysis

(Analysis from Android review)

App Description

The multi-currency Blockchain.mn wallet supports working with EDC coins and tokens created on the EDC Blockchain platform.

The App

We tried installing the app on both Blue Stacks and a Samsung phone. Both have an error during installation.

“Error: Something went wrong”

We contacted support via Telegram and was told to register first on their web app and then to reinstall the android app.

The Site

We tried to register via the web app and nothing happened as we clicked on the Register button.

We contacted them via twitter to document the query. But according to their support in Telegram, the wallet does not support Bitcoin.

The description of “multi-currency wallet” may not have been what we had in mind. Since we cannot register and since support is clear that they do not support Bitcoin, the verdict is this app does not have a bitcoin wallet.

Verdict Explained

The product is not for BTC.

As part of our Methodology, we ask:

Is it for bitcoins? If not, we tag it No BTC

At this point we only look into wallets that at least also support BTC.
