This Android app was first launched on 6th August 2018 and currently has more than 1000 downloads, a 4.3 stars rating from 40 users and the latest release is version 3.2.3.

Our last analysis was done on 29th December 2019 based on data found in their Google Play description and their website.

Try out searching for "lost bitcoins", "stole my money" or "scammers" together with the wallet's name, even if you think the wallet is generally trustworthy. For all the bigger wallets you will find accusations. Make sure you understand why they were made and if you are comfortable with the provider's reaction.

The Analysis

This appears to not be a wallet as to our understanding, it does not hold any private keys but delegates that part to AirGap Vault without which it does not work.

AirGap Vault, the private key is generated and securely stored in the AirGap Vault app. You have to install AirGap Vault to use AirGap Wallet https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.airgap.vault

Verdict Explained

This appears to not be an app to send and receive bitcoins. We will probably remove this app from the project.
